Research shows that children from crawlers and toddlers to older children learn effectively through play; in our Playbarn we have a soft play area with soft bricks and developmental toys for crawlers, a special area for under 3s with a sensory area, slightly smaller slide, a ball pool, swing seat and happy hoppers!

For older children we have our large play area, with a climbing wall, monkey bars, infinity mirror, rickety rope bridges, super wide slide, balance beams, lookout holes and loads to explore.

Whilst they’re having fun, you can relax, meet friends and enjoy a freshly ground coffee, cakes and snacks, free Wifi and comfy sofas in our Cafe.  There is no charge for adults so bring your friends for a catch up while the children play. 

We can also host Parties for children of all ages

Whats On

  • Poster for a kids’ “Messy Play” session on Thursdays, 10:30–11:30am, with bright blue noodles and a QR code.
  • Jo Jingles children’s music and movement classes poster at The Playbarn, Blakemere Village in Northwich.
