The Playbarn is a warm and welcoming place for children of all ages to enjoy stimulating play
whilst developing social skills in a safe, clean environment with friendly and helpful staff.
Opened in 1997 and recently refurbished with a new disco area, The Playbarn is a warm and welcoming place for children of all ages to enjoy stimulating play whilst developing social skills in a safe, clean environment with friendly and helpful staff.
Research shows that children from crawlers and toddlers to older children learn effectively through play; in our Playbarn we have a soft play area with soft bricks and developmental toys for crawlers, a special area for under 3s with a sensory area, slightly smaller slide, a ball pool, swing seat and happy hoppers!
For older children we have our large play area, with a climbing wall, monkey bars, infinity mirror, rickety rope bridges, super wide slide, balance beams, lookout holes and loads to explore.
Whilst they’re having fun, you can relax, meet friends and enjoy a freshly ground coffee, cakes and snacks, free Wifi and comfy sofas in our Cafe. There is no charge for adults so bring your friends for a catch up while the children play.
We can also host Parties for children of all ages

My little boy had a party here and it was fab! The staff sorted everything including a platter for the adults, food for the children, party bags with sweets and catering for special dietary requirements. The children loved the soft play and bubble disco. Thank you to all the staff for making it completely stress free.

We had our daughters 2nd birthday party here yesterday with all her little friends and it was the most amazing day from start to finish! It was very well planned out all the girls was very helpful and lovely, we caught them having a dance cleaning up clearly enjoying their work! The price was brilliant for what you got especially compared to other places that charge a bomb and are nowhere near as good

I took my little girl here for the first time and she loved it, the baby one is perfect for their age, but as they do they wonder off to the big one, which they can go in with mum or dads supervision 🙂 The staff were amazing and the food was gorgeous, we enjoyed it that much that we are bringing her back today 🙂

We had our son's 4th birthday party at the playbarn with 20 kids and 30 adults it was absolutely brilliant from the size of the safe play to the quantity of food.
The manager was amazing nothing was to much to ask and she made sure her staff were on first call for us.
Will definitely be visiting again thank you for making our sons birthday so special

I took my 10 month old niece over and she had a great time being safely let loose. It wasn't overcrowded either so it was a lovely atmosphere. Drinks and food well priced. We will be returning! oh and a mention to the staff who were all very helpful and friendly 🙂
